What I've Learned

I've learned  a lot from my practicum and most of what I learned probably came from my two tutees. They showed me how some children learn differently, and that everyone has something that they can improve on. I learned how important it is to commit to something and follow through, because when tutors don't show up it can really affect their tutees. When I was younger, I had trouble committing to clubs or projects for long periods of time and this has shown me how that can affect others. I've also learned the importance of communication whether it was with the coordinators, my tutee's teachers, other tutors, or with my tutees themselves. To be honest, I probably learned more than I realized. I look forward to learning more in the future.
