Future Plans

I am currently applying to the University of Maryland's Early Childhood/ Early Childhood Special Education Professional Program and am waiting to hear back. My future plans do depend on this, but if everything goes according to plan I will continue with this major and work towards becoming a fully certified teacher. I am hoping to work this summer as assistant teacher and plan to continue with Lakeland STARs for as long as my required classes let me. After I graduate and earn my certification I want work as a teacher. I think I want to focus more on special education because early intervention is so important, but I'm also open to other opportunities. At the end of the day I really just want to help children live up to their full potential and become the best person they can be. My main goal for myself is to be happy with whatever path I choose and I think I will be.
